Hot and Happening HDIL Couture Week
With beautiful models and actresses walking down on the ramp, bollywood celebs can't be far behind. Bollywood's no 1 couple, SRK and wife Gauri made an appearance at the HDIL Couture Week. The couple as usual looked happy with each other, cause unlike other celebs SRK has never been linked to any of his co-stars, despite being one of the top actors of the country. Wife Gauri looked chic in a black dress and wide silver buckled belt.
SRK may not have drop dead gorgeous looks, but obviously he has charisma and that's why he's at the top of bollywood. At the HDIL Couture Week, SRK turned up in a simple white shirt and black trousers, but still managed to turn all heads. There is just something about SRK that draws one like a magnet, we couldn't agree more. SRK- simple yet sophisticated.
Actress Raveena Tandon and husband Anil Thadani also attended the HDIL Couture Week. Acting may have taken a back seat for ravishing Raveena after marriage and motherhood. But the pretty actress still looked as pretty as ever in a black dress with silver straps and frill. Ravs also showed off her scorpion tatoo with her wide neck dress. With her pretty face and acting talent, she can still give some of our young bollywood girls tough competition. So what say Raveena?
Farah Khan and director husband Shirish Kunder were dressed pretty casually for the HDIL fashion event. No doubt with triplets on their hands, the parents hardly have time to get all dressed up. Farah has directed two successful hits and is now taking a break, meanwhile hubby Shirish's directorial debut was a flop and he is trying his level best to get finance for his second film. Well Shirish, who ever said having a successful director for a wife would make life easier?
Anil Kapoor was also present at the HDIL Couture Week to lend support and cheer on daughter Sonam Kapoor who was also seen walking the ramp for the first time. Sonam's debut film may not have been a success, but clearly the actress has been noticed as she will soon be seen in Rakeysh Mehra's next film opposite Abhishek. Well, also having a successful actor father could only help in the long run, right Sonam?
Yummy mummies, Sonali Bendre and Suzzane Khan looked real pretty at the HDIL fashion week. Sonali like most of the other actresses went in for a black dress while the svelte Suzzane looked pretty in a pink dress. We wonder what Suzzane has to say about sexy Barbara Mori romancing husband Hrithik Roshan in Mexico? We hear the two share sizzling chemistry, on-screen of course.
Sexy style icon Malaika Arora Khan looked dazzling at the HDIL Couture Week in a shiny, sequined gold dress. The short dress showed of those beautiful tanned legs and it fit like a second skin. Malaika sure knows how to make her presence felt and dazzle one and all.
Fardeen Khan and sister Laila Khan were also spotted at the HDIL event. Fardeen Khan has not been seen in any film for quite a while. He hasn't given up on his acting career, we hope. Laila Khan who is usually immaculately turned out at events, left us dumbstruck, but not because she looked awesome. The tiger print pants and the ill fitting top were just too over the top, poor Laila must surely be going through a tough time with rumours of her recent divorce.
Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi, the loving couple attended the HDIL fashion week in their trademark style. Javed Akhtar carried his loose Kurtas with dignity and Shabana still looked pretty in a bright shocking pink saree. This is definitely one couple that never seems to lose their style and dignity. Way to go guys.
