Oprah names Ash-Abhi's daughter
'Beti B' is yet to be named but she got a special name from a special guest Oprah Winfrey. Oprah Winfrey on her maiden visit to India first dropped at the Bachchan’s residence to meet Aishwarya Rai and her new born. She spent nearly an hour with the Bachchan family and addressed the new born as ‘princess’. Oprah was keen to meet Ash’s baby and rushed from the airport to the Bachchan house to see Ash and her daughter.
Oprah and the Bachchan family share a great rapport. Aishwarya appeared on her famous talk show before and after her marriage. After marriage, she was joined by her hubby Abhishek. After spending an hour, Amitabh Bachchan drove Oprah along with Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya to the dinner party hosted by Parmeshwar Godrej in honor of Oprah.
Excited Amitabh Bachchan, who drove Oprah from her residence to the party, tweeted, "The gracious Oprah Winfrey visits our home, to meet us and bless the baby...warm hearted, endearing...drive her to the party in her honour. And Oprah in sari..looking lovely!!"
Many biggies from Bollywood were invited to the bash. Amitabh Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya, Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Priety Zinta, Lara Dutta, Shilpa Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Imran Khan, Neha Dhupia, Sameera Reddy, Dino Morea, novelist Shobha De, and jewelry designer Farah Khan were present.
Oprah dressed in a traditional Indian attire Sari looked great. She was full of life and Bollywood smitten by her charm. She visited India for her new talk show, ‘Next Chapter’.
